Privacy policy  ·  AliExpress Promo Codes and Coupons Finder  ·  v0.3.0

No account, no analytics, no profile of you.

This extension finds promo codes and applies them on the AliExpress order page. To do that it needs a coupon list and the contents of the page you are already looking at. It does not need to know who you are, and it does not ask.

The short version

The extension stores a handful of settings and your favorited coupon codes in your own browser. It makes one kind of outbound request: it asks a coupon service for the current list of AliExpress codes. That request carries no identifier for you, no page contents, and no browsing history. Nothing you type, buy, or pay with is ever sent anywhere.

There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, and no third-party script. The extension does earn affiliate commission on AliExpress purchases, which is disclosed in full below.

What is stored, and where

Everything in this list lives in your browser's extension storage. Items marked Chrome sync are copied between your own devices by Chrome itself when you are signed in to Chrome — they go to Google, not to us. We have no server-side copy of any of it.

Favorited coupon codes Chrome sync

The codes you starred in the panel, stored as a plain list of code strings under hcchFavoriteCoupons.

Cached coupon list Chrome sync

The last list received from the coupon service, plus the time it was fetched, so the panel still works offline and does not re-request on every page load.

Your settings Chrome sync

The coupon service address and the refresh interval.

Cheapest-offer results This device only

For items where you asked to compare AliExpress sales channels: the item id, the channel links, and the price text found, kept for up to 72 hours so the same item does not have to be checked twice.

One timestamp This device only

When an AliExpress tab was last opened by the extension, used only to enforce its own four-minute cooldown.

What leaves your browser

The coupon request

At most once per refresh interval (30 minutes by default), the extension asks the coupon service for the AliExpress list:

GET https://darkgoldenrod-vulture-438603.hostingersite.com/api/coupons.php?site=aliexpress.com

The request contains the store name above and the extension's own API key. It contains no user id, no cookie, no cart, no order total, no item you viewed, and no page URL. Like any web request, it reaches the server with your IP address and browser user-agent; the service uses these for delivery and abuse prevention and does not build a profile from them.

Pages the extension opens

When you use Find best discount or the offer comparison, the extension briefly opens AliExpress pages in background tabs and closes them when it is done. These are ordinary visits to AliExpress, made from your browser as you, and AliExpress sees them as it would any other page you open. No data is sent to us as part of this.

That is the complete list

There is no other outbound connection. All reading and matching of the order page happens locally, inside your browser, and the results are passed only between the extension's own components.

Affiliate disclosure

This extension participates in the AliExpress affiliate program. When you use Copy, Apply, or Find best discount, it may open one AliExpress tab in the background carrying our affiliate tag — at most once every four minutes. The offer links shown in the panel carry the same tag.

If you then buy something, we may receive a commission from AliExpress. This never changes the price you pay. The tag identifies this extension as the referrer; it does not identify you, and no personal data is attached to it.

If you would rather not be referred through us, do not use the panel's buttons — copy the code by hand instead — or remove the extension.

What the extension reads on the page

On AliExpress pages only, the extension reads what it needs to do its job: the order total and the promo-code field on the order page, and the item id and displayed price on a product page. It uses these to type a code into the field, to tell whether the total went down, and to compare prices between channels.

This information is used in the moment and, apart from the offer cache described above, is not retained. None of it is transmitted off your device.

What is never collected

  • Your name or email address
  • Shipping or billing addresses
  • Payment card or bank details
  • Your AliExpress login or password
  • Your order or purchase history
  • Browsing activity on any other website
  • Cookies, or your Chrome history
  • Precise location
  • Contacts, files, or clipboard reads
  • Device fingerprints or analytics events

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to anyone, because we do not hold any. There is no data broker relationship, no advertising network, and no use of anything here for creditworthiness or lending.

Permissions, and why each one exists

The extension deliberately does not request access to your tabs and their URLs, your browsing history, your cookies, your downloads, or any site other than AliExpress and the coupon service.

No remote code

All code the extension runs is contained in the package you installed from the Chrome Web Store. Nothing is downloaded and executed at runtime. The coupon service returns data only — a list of codes and their descriptions — which is inserted into the panel as plain text, never as markup or script.

Your controls

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or erase on request. If you believe otherwise, write to us at the address below and we will investigate and respond.

Children

This extension is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If the extension's data practices change, this page is updated before the new version ships, and the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the Chrome Web Store listing's release notes.
